Spiritual
Healers and Earth Stewards
The
International Assembly of Spiritual Healers and Earth Stewards Congregations
(SHES) was formed in March, 1988, by a group of souls who felt the need
to share a spiritual fellowship without a dogma, a communion that would
support the members experiences, strengths and growth in the fields
of spiritual healing and earth stewardship. This has allowed persons
of all spiritual backgrounds, and even ethical participants with no
spiritual backgrounds, to share in our common goals. The Assembly appointed
its first Diplomats of Earth Stewardship, Certified Spiritual Healers
and Ministers in an open air ceremony at sunrise on the blue moon of
May, 1988, on a spiritual, sacred, prominence overlooking Puget Sound
in Discovery Park in Seattle, Washington. Fifteen people chose that
path that morning. Since then SHES has grown by word of mouth to having
members and congregations world wide.
Diplomats of Earth Stewardship may be appointed by any member congregation.
Member congregations are formed by any two or more sentient beings who
choose to become congregations and to join SHES. At this time there
are no fees or dues for congregations, members of "Trusted Servants".
The Assembly is fully supported by donations of time and money. "Trusted
Servants" are the Diplomats of Earth Stewardship, the Certified
Spiritual Healers and the Ministers appointed by the Assembly. They
are required to take an oath of good conduct at the time they are appointed
or ordained. This code is set out at http://www.shes.org/main/ethics.htm.
Diplomats of Earth Stewardship choose to express their spiritual natures
as spokespersons, in word and/or deed, for the needs and delights of
the living sustainable earth, and of humanity's and all sentient being's
right and ability to live harmoniously within its ecosystems. These
pages were created beginning in February, 2002, with the hope to inspire
others to undertake such missions in life.
